Subject:                                         8-28-26 THOUGHTS

 

We read the introduction to the Church at Galatia this morning. Paul's  "God backed apostleship"`  is anchored at the outset.  I'm pleased to live in "rescued"  Rescue!  The source of all "Grace and Peace" is  God the Father and God the Son.  The rescue  was "from this present evil age",  and it is the same today!  This is God's will.  Glory  be to our Father!  

Gal 1:1-5    Paul, an apostle (not sent from men nor through the agency of man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),  2  and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia:  3  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,  4  who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,  5  to whom be the glory forevermore. Amen.

Our Prayer:
The cost of our rescue is wonderfully amazing, dear God.   It is according to your will, and we are eternally grateful and thankful.  Help us to discern this present evil age.  Keep us from it as we give our hearts and minds and souls to You through Christ Jesus.   Give us grace and peace from Yourself and Jesus.  May we glorify Your name forevermore.     In the name of Jesus,   Amen.
